We have partnered with a mid sized public accounting firm in Toronto to provide them with a Senior Bookkeeper. The role is an in office position. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
Responsibilities of the Senior Bookkeeper:
Seeking an experienced bookkeeper with strong accounting skills to provide write-up services on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis to a variety of firm clients as needed. This include accounts payable/receivable, recording banking transactions, creating the trial balance as well as all required closing and adjustment journal entries (and financial statements).
Requirements of the Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper:
- 4 years of bookkeeping in a CPA firm
- Bachelors degree in accounting (asset)
- Quickbooks exposure
- Strong client-facing skills
- Work independently with clients
- Payroll experience
- Business/individual tax returns
